Google users searched online for a Samashmusic.store reviews scam about a website posing as HomeBuys selling Honda generators for cheap prices.
Scammers designed Samashmusic.store to fool consumers into believing they shopped on HomeBuys.com.

On Nov. 6, 2024, I noticed that Google users searched for data about an Samashmusic.store reviews scam for a website named Samashstore. Scammers created Facebook and Instagram advertisements on a Facebook page misleadingly posing as the HomeBuys company. According to the advertisements, HomeBuys offered Honda EU22i Inverter Generators (or EU2200i) for the “warehouse clearance alert” sale price of $39.99 — a massive price reduction from the normal cost of $1,099. The website’s owners designed Samashmusic.store to misleadingly resemble HomeBuys.com to fool users into making purchases. Some users looked for help on Google after first viewing advertisements that offered purported deals on the generators and other items offered on a Facebook page named named Home Buys — a page with zero followers not associated with the official HomeBuys company. As of this writing, the Samashmusic reviews scam website’s homepage promoted discounts on generators, Christmas collections, other holiday products and more. Scammers apparently originally created the website to misleadingly pose as the Sam Ash music brand. (I referred to the scam as the “Samashmusic reviews scam” for keyword purposes.)

In my research, I looked into the Samashmusic.store reviews scam website and its promises of products from HomeBuys at “warehouse clearance alert” sale prices. I strongly advise consumers to not order anything from Samashmusic.store. The owners of Samashmusic.store misrepresented their website by pretending to have obtained an official association with the HomeBuys company — and Sam Ash.

This Honda generator will never cost $39.99.

Samashmusic.store Generator Scam Facebook Advertisement

One example of an advertisement displayed by the scam Home Buys Facebook page displayed a photo of Honda generators with the text caption, “Warehouse Clearance Alert! We’ve got a surplus of portable generators from distributors that are still in perfect condition! Their contract period has ended, and we need to make room. That means you get an unbeatable deal! Buy now and save BIG before they’re gone for good!”

Do not fall for these Facebook advertisement scams during the Christmas and holiday shopping season.

The post for the Samashmusic.store reviews scam also displayed the words, “EU22i (2200 watt) Inverter Generator Home Energy Reserve.”

Samashmusic.store Poses as HomeBuys.com Website

Here’s the main reason why I do not think anyone should purchase items on the Samashmusic.store reviews scam website: Someone associated with Samashmusic.store designed the website to fool consumers into believing they were shopping on HomeBuys.com. I previously researched other scam websites just like the Samashmusic.store website, in particular around the Christmas and holiday shopping season.

Mainly, as a GoDaddy.com search confirmed, the owner or owners of the Samashmusic.store reviews scam website — pretending to be HomeBuys.com selling Christmas products and Honda generators — registered the domain name Samashmusic.store with location information pointing to China. The domain registrar’s name displayed as, “Gname.com Pte. Ltd.” Further, the Samashmusic.store website feature no pages named “About Us” “Contact Us,” nor did it feature pages for a terms and conditions or privacy policy.

Anyone purchasing products from the Samashmusic.store scam website would likely not receive items of quality that they might expect from well-established companies — like the genuine HomeBuys.com website, or Honda, for example. In other words, customers would possibly receive in the mail cheaply-made knockoff items or something completely different from the products they ordered. It’s also possible consumers would receive nothing at all.

Need Help After Buying Something from Samashmusic.store?

If any consumers who purchased products from the Samashmusic.store reviews scam website posing as HomeBuys.com need help and cannot reach the owner or owners residing in China or elsewhere, I recommend calling your credit card company on the phone. They should be able to share sound advice in order to help resolve scam victims’ situations. I suggest any consumers who fell for this scam to ask your credit card company if they can refund the money. Mention your years of loyalty and on-time payments. Further, ask if it’s possible to block future charges from the same seller.
